Why drainage decides whether a wall survives
Most retaining wall failures don't come from the soil pressure you can calculate. They come from water pressure you can't see. Rain builds up behind a solid wall, the backfill turns into a sponge, and the wall takes load it was never designed for. Twisted or welded - which one for your site
Double twist mesh is the classic gabion build
